Violation
At the time of the visit, during rest time, it was observed that when a student requested to use the bathroom, Educator C left their assigned classroom to take the student down the hall to the bathroom. Educator C asked Educator B to 'stand in the hallway' to observe their classroom; however, this then left Educator B's room unsupervised. It was identified that the program typically has a third educator on site for support, who was out sick on the day of the visit. Educators must be positioned to maximize their ability to see and/or hear children in their care. Educators must not engage in any other activities or tasks that could unnecessarily divert their attention from supervising the children.
