Violation
It was observed upon arrival that children were engaged in some independent play. Children have access to developmentally appropriate materials of choice. The children then transitioned to a table activity, children requested to have a coloring activity. Children were observed to constantly be engaged in conversation with educator, with each other, and engaged with licensor. It was observed that children were not given cues and sufficient time before a transition was occurring. Educator needs to to be consistent with modeling expectation of activities rather than only standing near children. Throughout visit educator did take a more engaged approach to modeling expectations during activities for the children.
