At the time of the visit, the following was observed: Students arrived at the program and walked into the Group A classroom without an educator present. On two occasions students were observed to go the bathroom without an educator supervising them. The bathroom to the program is located down the hall and out of site of the classrooms. Within the Group C classroom, a student was observed to leave the classroom and enter the back hallway, where their backpack was located, without proper supervision. This hallway also had direct access to outside. On one occasion it was observed that two educators had stepped out of the Group C classroom, leaving students in the room without an educator. EEC Licensor entered the classroom as the two educators were walking back into the classroom. Educators must be positioned to maximize their ability to see and/or hear children in their care.
