When the licensor arrived there were nine children present with a certified assistant (6) and a regular assistant. A review of the attendance showed that the Educator was signed in as being present, however the Educator was not on the premises. The Educator will leave the premises for breaks several times a week and not adjust the attendance log to reflect that. Additionally the certified assistant (6) cares for more than 6 children for approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour several times a week and there is no documentation to reflect that.

The assistants stated that the Educator had left the premises to go get coffee for everyone. The certified assistant(6) stated that she is left with the regular assistant sometimes with more than 6 children. The Educator returned approximately 30 minutes after the licensor arrived with coffee and a gallon of milk. The Educator stated that herself or her certified assistant(10) were present on the premises with the two assistants. The Educator started that she will leave the premises for breaks for approximately 30 minutes to one hour 2-3 times a week, leaving the certified assistant (6) with the regular assistant and there are more than 6 children present. This is more than the 25 hrs in a 12 month period that is allowed.
