The following hazards were observed and accessible to the children: KITCHEN: -The cabinet drawers were not secured and had broken locks. Inside, there were hazardous materials, including but not limited to batteries, sharp and pointed objects such as a large thermometer, a turkey holder, and a vegetable peeler. Additionally, there were candles, air freshener, plastic bags, and aluminum foil. -Underneath the sink, the cabinet door was not secure and contained hazardous materials, including but not limited to cleaning products, detergents, and bug and ant sprays. -On top of the cabinet near the window, cleaning products such as Clorox and Lysol were accessible to the children. -An extension cord was plugged in and lying on the floor, with the outlets uncovered and not secured to the wall. - A vacuum cleaner, mop, broom, and dustpan were observed to be accessible to the children. These items are tipping hazards as well as health and safety hazards. An uncovered trash bin containing trash inside was also observed in the Kitchen and accessible to the children LIVING ROOM: An extension cord near the computer desk, used to connect the printer, was not secured to the wall.
