One staff member who has been working at the program for 6+ months did not have current First Aid Certification.
In the Gross Motor Room, there were several trikes stored in the back hallway/exit route. Exits and evacuation routes must be kept clear of obstructions.
In the gross motor room, 3 exits did not have written evacuation plans posted next to them.
The evacuation drill log for this school year did not include the time it took for all staff/children to exit the building (effectiveness).

The program did not consistently include the end time of the staff meetings. Therefore, EEC was unable to determine if all staff were meeting for a minimum of 2 hours monthly.
A sampling of staff files was reviewed. 1) One staff file was missing evidence of completion of the 12 Essentials Strong Start training. 2) One file was missing evidence of 2 reference checks.
The program's posted Allergy/Medical Condition List did not include any medications that may need to be administered to children for their allergy/medical conditions if needed.

The attendance form for the Dinosaurs classroom was reviewed at the visit. Children's arrival and departure times were not noted on the attendance form for each child as required.
1) In the Dinosaur classroom, the allergy list was posted. However, it was not posted in a manner that protects the privacy of each child. 2) One child's medical documentation included that the child has [REDACTED]. This was not noted on the Allergy/Medical Condition List.
In the Dinosaur classroom, written emergency/evacuation drill procedures were not posted next to each exit.
The practice evacuation drill documentation was reviewed. The 2019-2020 school year documentation did not include the specific number of children evacuated in each drill.
