It was reviewed with the educator that all general permissions state something different and therefore she must state specific places children are taken when off premises and if she does not go off premises she must state that on the general permission. It was observed that all three bedrooms were not organized; one bedroom had access to a vacuum and an air conditioner unit was on top of the bed. The vacuum was observed to be plugged in and the electrical cord was accessible. One of the bedroom’s was observed to have a dirty carpet, as stains and debris was observed and was observed to be in disarray. The doors to the bedrooms were observed to be dirty, stains and smudges. In the kitchen there was access to cleaning products under the sink, there was access to sharp knives in one of the kitchen drawers. The play space in the living room and the activity space in the kitchen looked cluttered and a bit in disarray. It was reviewed with the educator that she needed to better organize some of the play materials in order for children to have sufficient and clear space for a variety of activities. The educator must provide sufficient space, accessible to children, for each child to store clothing and other personal items in a safe, sanitary manner, which was observed that some of the children’s coats were stacked one on top of the other and the hooks for the coats are not accessible to the children.
