EEC Licensor observed the Educator's interactions with children; not all interactions were positive nurturing. The Educator's tone of voice was not warm and comforting to a child who was upset.

There was an (REDACTED) observed in a porta crib when licensor arrived. The (REDACTED) was observed to be awake, however the Educator stated that the (REDACTED) had been sleeping. The (REDACTED) was wearing a bib, and there was a pacifier clipped to a ribbon attached to the bib. Licensor explained that this was a violation of EEC Safe Sleep Regulations, as those items are considered strangulation hazards. Later during the visit, the Educator put the other (REDACTED) down for a nap. The (REDACTED) had a pacifier with a stuffed animal attached to it, and the sheet was not tight fitting. The Educator also had quilts draped over the sides of the porta cribs.
