During the visit there was furniture that needs to be secured in both the toddler preschool room and the school age room. There was a heater in the school age bathroom that when the knob was turned it became hot and could burn a child.
The three windows in the school age classroom need window guards.

Staff wash hands after cleaning tasks, handling trash
During the visit when the licensor was verifying attendance they counted 11 kids but the attendance stated that there were 12 kids. When the licensor stated to an educator that they counted 11 children an educator said we have 12 kids and the attendance says the same. The licensor asked the educator to check their numbers again and that is when they said someone wasn't signed out and that is when they knew they had 11 not 12 children.
During the visit there was furniture in the preschool room that was not secure. The TV in the preschool room was not secure during the visit.
During the visit the bathroom had a very strong odor of soiled diapers, trash should be emptied more frequently to eliminate smells. In the preschool classroom the baseboard heater was broken.
At each exit in the classroom there needs to be a map and then procedures that indicate what to do in the event of an emergency.
Two educators were observed to clean tables and then failed to wash their hands after cleaning.

During the observation of the indoor space the two bathrooms had radiators that were very rusty, there was also plungers and toilet brushes accessible to the children.
This monitoring visit inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
