The staff’s eligibility determination date was listed as 08/22/18. The surveyor did not observe this staff member working with children on this date. During interview, staff-in-charge stated the staff member was rehired on 08/04/25 as an office administrator with no supervisory role over the children, and she would send the staff member for updated fingerprint background check immediately. During interview, the surveyor learned that the older child was a school-age child. Staff stated that the school-age child gets bored and asks if she can help clean. Based on an email from director and during interview, DRCC learned that two (2) school-age children assist in the younger children’s classrooms for a "couple of hours on whatever day they chose". The director stated during interview that, in the future, she would assure that the school-age children are not mixed with the younger children for more than one (1) hour per day.
