This snack had peanut butter as one of the ingredients. The staff stated she did not read the label on the Muddy Buddies Chex Mix snack to know it was coated with sugar and had peanut butter inside. A five (5) year old child had an allergic reaction after eating the Muddy Buddies Chex Mix snack. The child was taken to the ER because his stomach hurt, throat was burning and his face was red and swollen. The child was connected to an IV, given breathing treatments, Benadryl and steroids for three (3) to four (4) hours.
