Continued interview revealed that there were two (2) children participating in a tea lesson that consisted of numerous steps to allow for the scalding water to cool, however the staff member supervising the lesson walked away to ensure that another child did not pull ceramic dishes off a shelf prior to confirming that the children using the tea kettle did not sustain an injury due to the hot water, and a five-year-old child spilled water on his lap causing a burn.
