General: Based on observation and interview, there was not a hand railing at the steps that enter into the family child care home. The provider acknowledged the violation. Review of DRCC records revealed an accepted plan of correction (POC) submitted by the provider in response to a statement of deficiency from an initial inspection conducted on 12/04/25. The POC consisted of the following statements: "A secure hand railing will be installed at the front entrance steps to ensure safe access for children entering and exiting the family child care home", and "As the provider, I will conduct regular safety inspections of the home's entrances and exits to ensure required safety features, including hand railings, are in place and maintained in good condition". Based on the current findings, the provider failed to implement his/her submitted and accepted plan of correction.
