Based on observation, the above mentioned pre-school child was observed still sleeping approximately 30 minutes later in the large common area, alone, without supervision. Based on an interview with the staff member in the pre-school classroom, she stated she was responsible for the child in the common area. When the surveyor informed the staff member that the child could not be sleeping in the area without supervision, the staff member made no attempt to bring the child into the classroom with her and the rest of the children.
