The maximum group size is twenty-four (24) children. There was a total of thirty-two (32) children; therefore, the group size was over the allowed maximum by eight (8) children. General: Based on observation, the following was found: 1.) There were 21 students present in the Preschool classroom aged two- to- five-years-old with three staff members. The maximum group size for children aged two is 20. 2.) There were 31 students present in the School-Age classroom aged five- to- twelve-years-old with two staff members. The staff-to-child ratio and group size was exceeded by one. 3.) The surveyor walked the hallway leading to the School-Age classroom at 3:25 pm and observed several children walking from the bathroom back to the classroom. The children went to the restroom with a staff member in a group of ten and walked back to the classroom individually after washing their hands. The staff member that remained in the classroom exceeded the ratio of fifteen children during this time as the children returned individually. The staff member who remained in the classroom had 21 students when the staff member initially left with the group, with this number growing as the children returned individually.
