General: Based on observation and interview, on 04/10/26 at 9:10 a.m. the surveyor arrived at the center to complete an inspection. The lights were off in the center, and no one answered the surveyors' knocks. The surveyor called the number listed in KICCS twice and the second time connected with the provider. The provider stated that the center had closed for the day due to no children being present. The surveyor asked the provider if they had reported the temporary closure to DRCC and the provider stated they had not. The surveyor explained that all closures, including temporary or unexpected, must be reported to DRCC in a timely manner. The provider stated she understood. The surveyor confirmed no other planned closures in the near future and left the premises at 9:15 am.
