470 IAC 3-1.1-41(b)(1) · The following behavior shall be prohibited by all direct child care providers: Cruel, harsh, or unusual punishment

The daycare was practicing and using an unusual method of compliance with the children at naptime. The staff would place there legs over the children on their mats, the knees ups making a bridge to keep the children in place if they were not following napping directions. The staff never touched the children with there legs, but in effect were confining the children in place.
