The child crossed a ditch and into the road, with heavy traffic flow. Before a staff person could reach the child, a passerby stopped their vehicle and picked up the child. The passerby put the child in their vehicle and pulled the vehicle into the parking lot of the center. The staff person took custody of the child from the passerby. The passerby called law enforcement, who completed an incident report. The child¶s parents were immediately notified. The child was not upset or injured. An adverse action was previously issued for this rule violation. This rule violation is no longer appealable. No fine is being issued at this time.

During an investigation, it was determined that on August 26, 2022, an eleven-year-old child was not adequately supervised when the center staff did not prevent the eleven-year-old from exiting the facility, for an undetermined period of time. The eleven-year-old child became upset with a staff member because the child did not want to leave the facility to get a haircut. The eleven-year-old child ran out of the door running towards the street.
