During an investigation, it was determined based on an investigation the center self-reported on February 24, 2023 that at 2:20 p.m. a four-year-old child was inappropriately disciplined when a staff member slapped the child in the face causing the child to fall to the floor. The staff member stated that she slapped the child after the child hit her in the back. Video surveillance confirmed that the incident occurred. No marks or injuries were reported to the four-year-old child.
