    591-1-1-.03(9) · Rule 591-1-1-.03(9) requires center staff to refrain from engaging in, or allowing children or other adults to engage in, activities that could be detrimental to a child's health or well-being, such as but not limited to, horse play, rough play, wrestling, and picking up a child in a manner that could cause injury.

    During an Incident Investigation Closure conducted on February 13, 2023 ; It was determined based on investigative findings that center staff allowed children to horseplay and run around the classroom on January 11, 2023, resulting in a child falling and hitting their mouth on the table. The injury resulted in the child having a tooth extracted. An adverse action was previously issued for this rule violation. This rule violation is no longer appealable. No fine is being issued at this time.

    During an investigation, it was determined that on January 11, 2023, center staff allowed children to horseplay and run around the classroom resulting in a three-year-old child falling and hitting their mouth on a table. The child received professional medical attention.

First Baptist Academy: ‡One child was not marked load or unload on the afternoon route on December 11, 2022.
