591-1-1-.32(7) · Rule 591-1-1-.32(7) requires that children be supervised at all times appropriate to the individual age, needs and capabilities of each child. During a complaint investigation conducted on March 28, 2022, it was determined that on March 23, 2022, children were not adequately supervised when a five-year-old child was left alone on a center vehicle for an undetermined length of time. At approximately 7:00 a.m., the child was picked up from Kid’s Time Early Learning Center, Inc., where the child was enrolled, by a driver from Kid’s Time Early Learning Center #2. The child was transported to Kid’s Time Early Learning Center #2 and transferred to a second vehicle. Interviews indicated that the second vehicle drove to a local elementary school to drop off children. The vehicle returned to Kid’s Time Early Learning Center #2 at 8:20 a.m. Staff discovered the child had been left on the vehicle when at an undetermined time, they exited the vehicle and the child arrived at the front door of the center.
