    591-1-1-.32(2) · Rule 591-1-1-.32(2) requires the Center maintain Staff:child ratios in mixed-age groups based on the age of the youngest group of children that includes more than twenty percent of the total number of children in the mixed-age group.

    During a Complaint Investigation & Monitoring Visit conducted on January 24, 2022 ; It was determined based on observation that following classrooms were observed to be out of ratio: 1. Classroom C was observed to have twenty-nine children (14 one-year-olds and 15 children ages three- years-old to five-years-old) with one staff present when four staff were required. 2. Classroom B was observed to have 13 children (12 infants and one one-year-old) with one staff present when three staff were required.

    During a Complaint Investigation & Monitoring Visit conducted on January 24, 2022 ; It was determined based on observation that the following classrooms were observed to be over the classroom capacity limits: 1. Classroom A was observed to have nine children present in a classroom that was licensed for five. 2. Classroom B was observed to have 13 children present in a classroom that was licensed for six. 3. Classroom C was observed to have 29 children present in a classroom that was licensed for seven. 4. There were 51 children observed to be present when the center's overall capacity was 35.
