During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that the bedding in the K-4 classroom as not stored in a sanitary manner, in that the bedding were stored in bags however the sheets were sticking out at the top of the bag, causing the sheets to touch other childrens bedding. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, Bedding and linens, when not in use, must be stored in a sanitary manner which prevents the spread of germs or lice from other linens. All bedding and linens must be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized at least once a week, and before use by another child

12-2: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that one shelf in the before/after school room was not in good repair, in that the particle board was peeling off. During the inspection, the shelf was removed from the classroom. This is being marked corrected at the time of the inspection. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, 3.1 A All child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Indoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that the emergency evacuation routes were not posted in the before/after school room. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that 2 child care personnel did not complete the School Readiness Pre- Service training within the proper time from. Staff had until 6/30/2024 the complete the School Readiness Pre-Service training. Licensing Specialist observed the 2 child care personnels DCF transcript and saw that the Pre-Service training was not completed. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, Child care personnel must successfully complete the preservice training coursework described in this section, as applicable. All child care personnel must complete these preservice training requirements within 90 days of initial employment with any School Readiness provider. This timeframe does not start over if personnel change employment to another School Readiness provider within this initial 90 days. Personnel who have not completed all preservice training requirements are not allowed any unsupervised contact with or care of children in a School Readiness program

33-6: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that 1 child care personnel did not complete the 5 hour early literacy training within 12 months of their start date. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, Pursuant to Section 402.305(2)(e)5., F.S., all child care personnel must complete a single course of training in early literacy and language development of children ages birth through five years that is a minimum of five clock hours or .5 CEUs. Early literacy training must be completed within 12 months of date of employment in the child care industry. Proof of completion may be documented on a certificate of course completion, classroom transcript, or diploma. Child care personnel must complete one of the following: A. One of the Departments online literacy courses available on the Departments website. B. One of the Departments approved literacy courses.
