5-4: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed a number of transportation log entries were missing the time on the vehicle or the time off the vehicle. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 2.5.2 A. A log must be maintained for all children being transported in a vehicle or on foot away from and/or to the premises of the child care facility. The log must be retained on file at the facility for a minimum of 12 months and available for review by the licensing authority. The log must include: 1. Each childs name, 2. The date and time of departure, 3. Time of arrival at the destination, 4. The signature of the driver (or in the case of travelling on foot, the signature of the child care personnel), and 5. The signature of a second child care personnel or person(s) authorized by the provider to verify the transportation log and that all children have arrived safely and left the vehicle (if applicable)

13-3: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that there was hazards accessible to the children in the VPK classroom, in that there was Bloom Greens and Superfood Supplements, Aqueon Water Conditioner, Safe Start Plus Aquariums, and Epson printer ink (x4). All the items say keep out of reach of children. During the inspection, the items were moved and were no longer accessible to the children in care. 23-08 · Fire Drills
The annual fire inspection was conducted on 9/5/2024. The fire extinguisher certification(s) are valid until 1/2026. 23-8: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that the fire drill log did not have a fire drill (or emergency drill) documented on the log for April 2025. The director advised that the last fire drill was conducted on 4/24/2025. During the inspection, a fire drill was conducted with the Licensing Specialist. This is being marked corrected at the time of the inspection. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.4, C A current attendance record and parent contact information must accompany child care personnel out of the building during a drill or actual evacuation and be used to account for all children. The operator must maintain a written record of the fire drills showing the date, number of children and child care personnel in attendance, evacuation route used, and time taken for all individuals to evacuate the premises. Each fire drill record must be maintained for a minimum of 12 months from the date of the fire drill. The fire drills conducted must include, at a minimum: 1. One fire drill using an alternate evacuation route, 2. One fire drill during napping/sleeping times, and 3. One fire drill in the presence and at the request of the licensing authority.
