During the inspection, the director advised that currently there are two transportation vehicles. The first vehicle is a 2024 Ford (RK49271) that was insured through Church Mutual Insurance with an effective date of 1/17/2025. The second vehicle is a 2024 Ford (KA49157) that was insured through Church Mutual Insurance with an effective date of 1/17/2025. 7-3: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that the 2 transportation vehicles did not have a current and approved annual inspection. The annual fire inspection was conducted on 12/3/2024. 23-5: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that the 2 fire extinguishers in the transportation vehicles were not tagged. 33-10 · Training Requirements
During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that 1 driver did not have the transportation training. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 4.2.6 All child care personnel participating in the transportation of children must have training regarding guidance on safe transportation practices prior to participating in transportation of children. For child care personnel to satisfy this requirement the training must be accomplished through the Departments Transportation Safety course or the Early Learning Floridas Precautions in Transporting Children course. Child care personnel working at a facility currently providing transportation must complete training by April 1, 2020. Documentation of training must be maintained on the training transcript in the child care personnel file
