7-06 During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that the program's vehicle was monitored at time of inspection. The installed vehicle alarm was not in operational in that it did not go off with in the minute. The director was given until August 12, 2024, to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, regarding the maintaining of the vehicle alarm. CCF Handbook, Section 2.5.4,1-C - C. By January 1, 2022 all vehicles used by child care facilities to transport children must be equipped with a reliable alarm system approved by the Department which prompts the driver to inspect the vehicle for children before exiting the vehicle. 1. During the inspection, the director advised that there are currently 31 employees. During the inspection, Licensing Counselor observed 31 of 31 employee records. The director brought this standard back in compliance at the time of inspection. The Director brought this area back into compliance at the time of inspection by meeting with the staff member who was out of compliance and sending her home and dismissing her, letting her know that she cannot return until she has completed all of the training modules and passed all of the associated competency exams. When the Licensing Counselor was reviewing the files the licensing counselor seen one personnel did not finish her 40-hour training. During the inspection, Licensing Counselor provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 4.2.1 Mandated Introductory Training Childcare personnel must successfully complete 40 hours of childcare training as evidenced by successful completion of competency examinations offered by the Department or its designated representative with a weighted score of 70 or better. Licensing Specialist observed that the sheets and blanket were placed on the cots and the cots were placed on the side and stored against the wall one laying on the other, which caused blankets and sheets for different children to be touching. TA: Facility had storage bins for blankets and sheets, cots were just prepared for nap time, Licensing Specialist explained the requirement, to teachers. Teachers suppurated the cots, thus returning this standard into compliance at the time of this inspection. G. • During the inspection, CCR observed on the playground fence on playground 1 and 3 the base of the fence had a gap more than 3 inches off the ground. The outdoor play area must have adequate fencing or walls a minimum of 4 feet in height.
