17-01 · Technical assistance was given to the provider to treat the ant piles, remove or replace the plastic storage tote and remove or fence off the area with rock so the children cannot access prior to the due date. Lastly, technical assistance was given to the provider to sand/paint the red and yellow slide and also the jungle gym as they have rust

At the time of the inspection, information obtained revealed the facility allows children of age groups 4 and older watch YouTube programs that are not educational. The shows include, Huggy Wuggy and Shiloh Bros. The noncompliance was resolved due to the facility not watching programs during the commencement. The provider is advised to ensure that all media use is educational or physical activities for 30 mins or less daily for child 2 years and older to maintain compliance

At the time of the inspection, the facility did not have a daily indoor/outdoor checklist. A sample daily checklist was reviewed with the provider and a copy emailed on today's date for use going forward. The provider was reminded that indoor and outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log and any problems must be corrected before the play area is used by children
