41-02 · Immunization Records
• During the time of inspection, Licensing Specialist observed 10 children who had an expired immunization form. The director was given until December 25th, 2024, to come into compliance with this standard. • During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 7.1 F Immunization Records The child care facility is responsible for obtaining for each child in care a current, complete and properly executed Florida Certification of Immunization form Part A-1, B, or C, DH 680, which is incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001(7)(o), F.A.C., or the Religious Exemption from Immunization form, DH 681, which is incorporated by reference in 65C22.001(7)(p), F.A.C., from the custodial parent or legal guardian. DH Form 680 and DH Form 681 may be obtained from the local county health department. Specific immunization requirements are included and detailed in the most current edition of the Immunization Guidelines-Florida Schools, Child Care Facilities and Family Day Care Homes as promulgated by the Florida Department of Health. During the time of inspection, Licensing Specialist observed 6 containers of Dannon Low Fat Vanilla yogurt with an expiration date of 10/23/2024. During the time of inspection, Licensing Specialist observed an un-opened bag of Cheerio's Brand cereal with an expiration date of 10/09/2024. During the time of inspection, the director discarded all 6 containers and the one bag of Cheerio's Brand cereal: therefore, putting them back into compliance at the time of inspection

25-04 · Meals and Snacks
During the time of inspection, Licensing Specialist observed an open bag of shredded Mozzarella cheese which had three spots of spoilage. During the time of inspection, director properly discarded the bag of shredded Mozzarella cheese therefore putting this standard back into compliance. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 3.9.3, D.7 Food Safety D. If a facility chooses to provide food to children directly or by contract with an outside source, such as a caterer, the food must be free from spoilage and handled in a sanitary manner at all times. The facility must have adequate equipment available to maintain food safety. 7. To prevent food from becoming potentially hazardous, hot foods must be maintained at a temperature of 135 degrees Fahrenheit or above, and cold foods must be maintained at temperature of 41 degrees Fahrenheit, or below

07-06 · Vehicle Requirements
During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that the program's vehicle was monitored at time of inspection. The installed vehicle alarm in the 2015 ford Collins (A54715) was not in working condition in that the alarm did not go off within a minute. The alarm did not sound at all. The director tried several times to see if the alarm would sound. The director was given until May 6, 2024, to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, regarding the maintaining of the vehicle alarm. CCF Handbook, Section 2.5.4, F - F. By January 1, 2022 all vehicles used by child care facilities to transport children must be equipped with a reliable alarm system approved by the Department which prompts the driver to inspect the vehicle for children before exiting the vehicle. 1. Approved alarm systems must meet the following criteria: a. The alarm system must be armed or activated automatically when the vehicles ignition is turned on. b. The alarm system must be designed and installed so that the vehicle horn, siren or other type of audio alarm will sound if the driver/staff member does not walk to the rear or, in the case of a passenger van, the side entry point of the vehicle, to manually shut off or deactivate the alarm. c. The time delay from the time the ignition is turned off after activation of the alarm system until the alarm sounds shall be no longer than one minute. d. The alarm must be audible from the distance of 500 feet from the vehicle. e. The alarm system must be installed so that the driver must walk to the back of the vehicle to reach the deactivation mechanism. Deactivation mechanisms installed in locations that do not require the driver to walk to the back of the vehicle and view all seating areas will not be acceptable. 2. List of approved alarm manufacturers may be found on the Departments website at www.myflfamilies.com/childcare. 3. Alarms must be installed and maintained according to the manufacturers recommendations. 4. Alarm systems installed according to the manufacturers instructions prior to October 1, 2021, will be deemed to satisfy this requirement if they meet the criteria set forth in 2.5.4.F.1. above. Under this allowance, the existing alarm system must always be properly maintained in working order. Should at any time the alarm system require replacement, the new system must be selected from the Departments approved list referenced in 2.5.4 F.2. above (p. 17)

33-13 · Training Requirements
During the inspection, the director advised that there are currently 20 employees. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed 20 of 20 employee records. When the Licensing Specialist was reviewing the files the Licensing Specialist observed two personnel that did not have their School Readiness training within the first 90 days. The director brought this standard back in compliance at the time of inspection by suspending the personnel until they have completed the classes. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, School Readiness Program Health and Safety Standards Handbook Section 3.1 Preservice. Child care personnel must successfully complete the preservice training coursework described in this section, as applicable. All child care personnel must complete these preservice training requirements within 90 days of initial employment with any School Readiness provider. This timeframe does not start over if personnel change employment to another School Readiness provider within this initial 90 days. Personnel who have not completed all preservice training requirements are not allowed any unsupervised contact with or care of children in a School Readiness program
