The VPK class attendance exceeded the room capacity by 1 child. The Director stated that typically not every child was in attendance, but 17 are enrolled. The room was remeasured at this visit, but the capacity remains the same. Alternate options were discussed, including taking some space from the adjoining room and using the downstairs room for VPK. The Director stated that the VPK teacher prefers this classroom, so the decision was made that if more than 15 children are in attendance the class will use the downstairs classroom. The class will remain in the current VPK room if there are 15 children or less in attendance
