During the inspection, the Operator advised that there is one bird and four chickens on the premises, all of animals kept in cages in the backyard. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed that no written notification was posted for custodial parents or guardians. The Operator advised that she had only verbally informed the custodial parents or guardians. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided Technical Assistance per FDCH Handbook: "7.1 Animal Vaccinations Animals, pets or fowl must be properly vaccinated, if vaccinations are available for the type of animal, pet or fowl; and be free from disease. Animals that are poisonous, aggressive, venomous, or pose a potential threat of harm to children in care are prohibited. Custodial parents or legal guardian must be informed in writing of all animals on the premises of the home. Such information may be provided by way of a parent flyer, a notification statement, or a statement included in the child's enrollment form. Documentation of current immunizations must be available for review upon request by the licensing authority."
