15-02 · Swimming Pools FDCH/LFCCH Handbook
During the time of inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that the fence/barrier to the in-ground swimming pool was partially removed. The barrier did not go around entire pool while children were in care. Provider advised that her husband must have taken it down. Licensing Specialist also observed that the door leading to the pool was unlocked. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, section 7.7 Swimming Pools A. All in-ground swimming pools and above-ground swimming pools more than one-foot deep shall have either a fence or barrier on all four sides, at a minimum of four feet in height, separating the home from the swimming pool, or a pool alarm that is operable at all times when children are in care. The fence or barrier shall not have any gaps or openings that would allow a young child to crawl under, squeeze through, or climb up the barrier. D. In addition to the fence, barrier or pool alarm, child care personnel shall ensure that all exterior doors leading to the pool, spa, or hot tub area remain locked at all times while children are in care. E. Barriers may be temporary in nature but must be sturdy and meet all the above requirements and be in place during all times when children are in care

33-01 · Enrollment Information/Daily Attendance FDCH/LFCCH Handbook
During the time of inspection, the Provider advised the Licensing Specialist that there are currently 7 children enrolled. The Licensing Specialist monitored 6 of the 7 childrens records. Provider advised that parent had not returned registration form for one child, and she does not remember the date of his enrollment. REMINDER: Influenza brochures must be provided annually between August 1st and September 30th for each enrolled child. Distracted Adult brochures must be provided semi-annually in the months of April and September for each enrolled child. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, section 8.3 Enrollment Information A. The operator shall obtain enrollment information from the childs custodial parent or legal guardian prior to accepting the child into care. This information shall be documented on CF-FSP Form 5219, Child Care Application for Enrollment, which is incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001(7)(f), F.A.C., or an equivalent that contains all the information required by the Departments form. During the time of inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed that the dog's vaccination record was expired. Licensing Specialist observed current vaccination records for the dog submitted via email on 6/30/24. This standard was brought back into compliance. CCF Handbook, section 3.1 General Health and Safety Requirements C. Animals must be properly vaccinated (if a vaccination is available for the specific animal), free from disease, and clean. Animals that are poisonous, venomous, aggressive, or pose a potential threat of harm to children in care are prohibited. Parents/guardians must be informed in writing of all animals on the premises. Notice may be provided by a conspicuously posted notice or bulletin, policy handbook, parent flier, or a statement included on the enrollment form. Current vaccinations records must be available for review by the licensing authority. No animal may freely roam the indoor/outdoor premises. Animals are prohibited in areas where food is prepared, stored, or served. If animals or birds are kept in classrooms, they shall be caged and cages must be kept clean
