11-1: During part 2 of the renewal inspection on 7/19/2024, Licensing Specialist observed that there were chemicals assessable in the bathroom in the main home, in that under the sink there was Lime a way cleaner, Hydrogen peroxide, nail polish remover, glass cleaner and liquid fire; by the sink there was glass cleaner; and in the cabinet above the toilet there were Allergy relief, creams, lotions, mouth wash, and perfumes. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.2 All areas and surfaces accessible to children shall be free from toxic substances and hazardous materials/equipment/tools, including power tools, plastic bags, matches ,candles, lighters, etc. These items, as well as knives, sharp tools, BB guns, pellet guns and other potentially dangerous hazards, shall either be stored and in a locked areaor must be inaccessible and out of a childs reach

During part 1 of inspection on 7/1/2024, the Licensing Specialist observed the infant/toddler indoor play areas was cluttered in that there was not room for the children to play or walk around. During part 2 of the renewal inspection on 7/19/2024, Licensing Specialist observed that there were two spots in Room 1 (infant/one year old room) that needed cleaning, the floor in the doorway and the windowsill by the AC unit. 14-4: During part 1 of the renewal inspection on 7/1/2024, Licensing Specialist observed that there was a health and safety deficiency with a moderate potential for harm in the detached garage, the main area that the children use, did not have access to running water. Licensing Specialist advised that there was a plastic bag in the portable toilet (that was not operational) and the children were going to the bathroom into the plastic bag. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.5, B&C A. Operators must promote developmentally appropriate active play for all children, including infants and toddlers, every day. B. All areas of the home including the play areas shall be in good repair, clean and free from litter, nails, glass, and other hazards. C. Strings and cords long enough to encircle a childs neck, such as those on toys and window coverings, shall not be accessible to children. D. Bathtubs, buckets, diaper pails, and other open containers of water must be emptied immediately after use

17-4: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed bedding that were not sanitary in that there were three blankets being stored in a bin, one of the blankets was in a zipplock bag, however it was not closed and was touching 2 other blankets that were not in a zipplock bag. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.8, A: A home must include a designated area where each child can sit quietly or lie down to rest or nap. Each child in care must be provided safe and sanitary bedding to be used when napping or sleeping. Linens must be washed at least once a week and more often if soiled or dirty. All bedding and linens must be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized at least once a week and before use by another child. Bedding and linens, when not in use, must be stored in a sanitary manner which prevents the spread of germs or lice from other linens
