During time of inspection, Child Care Regulation was told by staff a child received injuries while outside during play time and staff was unable to explain how the child was injured. TA-Child care personnel must position themselves in the outdoor play area so that all children can be observed and directly supervised. During time of inspection, Child Care Regulation observed missing items soap and pre- moistened wipes in the first aid kit. TA-Each kit must be kept in a closed container and labeled First Aid and must, at a minimum, include: 1. Soap and hand sanitizer (to be used with supervision if hands are not visibly soiled and if no water is present), 2. Adhesive bandages, 3. Disposable, non-porous gloves, 4. Cotton balls or applicators, 5. Sterile gauze pads or rolls, 6. Adhesive tape, 7. Digital thermometer, 8. Tweezers, 9. Pre-moistened wipes, 10. Scissors, 11. Bottled water (for cleaning wounds or eyes), and 12. A current resource guide on first aid and CPR procedures.
