During the time of inspection, Licensing Specialist observed the children's nap mats were being stored in the shower of the bathroom. Licensing Specialist also observed four of the mats were torn/ripped, which makes them difficult to properly clean/sanitize. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, section 7.8 Appropriate, Safe and Sanitary Bedding A. A home must include a designated area where each child can sit quietly or lie down to rest or nap. Each child in care must be provided safe and sanitary bedding to be used when napping or sleeping. Linens must be washed at least once a week and more often if soiled or dirty. All bedding and linens must be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized at least once a week and before use by another child. Bedding and linens, when not in use, must be stored in a sanitary manner which prevents the spread of germs or lice from other linens
