During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed the cleaning supply closet to be unlocked, leaving chemicals (Fabuloso, Clorox, Gain laundry detergent, and Dreft) accessible to the children in care. During the time of the inspection, this was resolved by the Operator locking the door. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance: per the CCF Handbook "Toxic Substances, Hazardous Materials and Poisonous Items A. All areas and surfaces accessible to children shall be free from toxic substances and hazardous materials/equipment/tools, including power tools, plastic bags, matches, candles, lighters, etc. These items, as well as knives, sharp tools, BB guns, pellet guns and other potentially dangerous hazards, shall either be stored and in a locked area or must be inaccessible and out of a childs reach."
