During the time of the inspection, the Operator advised that she did not have a current copy of an approved fire inspection. The copy of the fire inspection, that the Operator provided the Licensing Supervisor had an inspection date of August 23, 2024, with a reinspection date of November 21, 2024, and the report did not include any signatures. During the time of the inspection, technical assistance was provided: " Unless statutorily exempted, all child care facilities must conform to state standards adopted by the State Fire Marshal, Chapter 69A-36, F.A.C., Uniform Standards for Life Safety and Fire Prevention in Child Care Facilities. A copy of the current and approved annual fire inspection report completed by a certified fire inspector must be on file with the licensing authority. If the program is granted a fire inspection exemption by the local fire inspection office, the exemption must be documented and maintained on file at the program." During the inspection, the Licensing Supervisor monitored the Fire Drill Log and observed that the last fire drill that was conducted/documented was May 6, 2025

During the inspection, the Licensing Supervisor observed that 2 of the 2 fire extinguishers in the children's classroom (cafeteria) expired in January 2025. During the inspection, technical assistance was provided: "Fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of 2A:10BC must be properly installed, serviced and maintained with current inspection tags at all times."
