During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed the children's nap time linens to be stored in a cabinet with the linens folded and stacked on top of one another without anything separating them from touching, exposing them to cross-contamination. The Operator advised that they currently launder the linens two days a week. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed the napping cots to be stored in the restroom directly across from the toilet, exposing them to cross-contamination. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance: per the FDCH Handbook " A. A home must include a designated area where each child can sit quietly or lie down to rest or nap. Each child in care must be provided safe and sanitary bedding to be used when napping or sleeping. Linens must be washed at least once a week and more often if soiled or dirty. All bedding and linens must be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized at least once a week and before use by another child. Bedding and linens, when not in use, must be stored in a sanitary manner which prevents the spread of germs or lice from other linens."

During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed there to be water damage along the baseboards in the restroom. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance: per the FDCH Handbook "A. All parts of the home, both indoors and outdoors; including the furnishings, equipment, toys and plumbing shall be kept clean, and sanitary, free from hazards, in an orderly condition and in good repair at all times. Provider should monitor the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recommendations for use of equipment."
