A one year old child was left in a high chair without food while the teacher was cleaning. During the inspection, the teacher took the one year old child out of the high chair, placing the child on the floor. B. Infants must be held for bottle feedings until they are developmentally ready to sit in an age appropriate chair with good head control. Children must not be left in high chairs or other types of feeding chairs other than during feeding times. The use of safety straps is required to prevent children from falling out of the high chair

The facility was using a disinfectant in the solution used to mop the floors in the facility in classroom that were occupied by children. B. The facility was using a disinfectant in the solution used to mop the floors in the facility in classroom that were occupied by children. G. Cleaning must not take place while rooms are occupied by children except for general clean-up activities that are part of the daily routine. General cleaning refers to cleaning necessary to maintain a sanitary environment but that does not pose a hazard to children, such as wiping the table after lunch, soaking toys in a tub on the countertop, or sweeping. 19-02 · Nap/Sleep Space Requirements
A minimum distance of 18'' was not maintained between each napping/sleeping space in the facility during naptime. The space in between the mats was seven inches. C. 20-06 · Crib Requirements
An infant age child was placed in a crib with a blanket which could pose a suffocation risk. During the inspection, the teacher removed the blanket from the crib, therefore, bringing the facility back into compliance. C. Children must not be placed in the cribs, playpens, play yards or other sleeping and napping bedding with items that could pose a strangulation or suffocation risk. 34-04 · Credentialed Staff
On February 9th, 2024, via email, the Owner of the facility advised the Family Services Counselor Supervisor that effective February 9, 2024 that the facility is without a Credentialed Director. The Owner advised that she hopes to have a Credentialed Director by May 2024. Technical Assistance provided, "4.7 Director Credential Section 402.305(2)(g), F.S., requires a child care facility to have a credentialed director. Every applicant for a license to operate a child care facility or a license for a change of ownership of a child care facility must document that the facility director has an active Director Credential prior to issuance of the license. An applicant for the Director Credential must meet the requirements referenced in CFFSP Form 5290, Florida Child Care and Education Program Director Credential and Renewal Application, which is incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001(7)(k), F.A.C. CFChild Care Facility Handbook Page | 47 FSP Form 5290 may be obtained from the Departments website at www.myflfamilies.com/childcare. All applications and documentation will be verified, and, if complete, the credential will be issued by the Department or its designated representative on CF-FSP Form 5252, Florida Child Care and Education Program Director Credential, which is incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001(7)(g), F.A.C. A. Each child care facility must have a credentialed director who is on-site a majority of hours, excluding weekends and evening hours that the facility is in operation.
