Licensing Specialist observe that facility did not have documentation of the fire extinguishers being properly maintained to include being serviced and retagged timely, and/or with a current certificate. All fire extinguishers including the one on the bus tags expired on 04/2024. TA was provided: Director contacted a company to service and tag all the fire extinguishers. The company technician came during the inspection to service and retag the extinguishers. All the fire extinguishers are now properly maintained to include being serviced and retagged timely, and/or with a current certificate, thus returning this standard into compliance at the time of this inspection. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2, B: B. Fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of 2A:10BC must be properly installed, serviced and maintained with current inspection tags at all times

42-01 · Student Health and Records
Licensing Specialist observed that the child that was enrolled on 08/22/2024 was missing the Student Health Examination/DH (Form 3040). TA: Licensing Specialist discussed requirement with the director. 7.2 Student Health Records The child care facility is responsible for obtaining for each child in care a current, complete and properly executed Student Health Examination form DH 3040, which is incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001(7)(q), F.A.C. and may be obtained from the local county health department, the parent or legal guardian, or a signed statement by authorized professionals that indicate the results of the components of the Student Health Examination form are included in the health examination. A. The Student Health Examination shall be completed by a person given statutory authority to perform health examinations. B. The Student Health Examination or the signed statement is valid for two years from the date the physical was performed. An up-to-date version must be on file for as long as the child is enrolled at the facility. C. If the custodial parents or legal guardians fail to provide the documentation required above within 30 days of enrollment, the facility shall not allow the child to remain in the program

19-02 · Nap/Sleep Space Requirements
Licensing Specialist observed Nap Time. Licensing Specialist observed that napping cots were very close and do not meet the 18 inches space requirement, in the One-Year-Old-Classes and Three to Five-Year-Old-Class. Technical assistant was provided: Licensing Specialist discussed napping space requirement with teachers and staff responsible, teachers moved cots away from other cots, the 18 inches requirement was fulfilled, thus returning this standard into compliance at the time of this inspection. CCF Handbook, Section 3.6.2 Nap/Sleep Space A. Each child care program must include a designated area where each child can sit quietly or lie down to rest or nap. B. When not in use, napping space and indoor floor space may be used interchangeably as indoor floor space. C. A minimum of 18 inches must be maintained around individual napping and sleeping spaces . A maximum of two sides of a napping or sleeping space may be against a solid barrier, such as the wall. The solid side of a crib does not meet the requirements for a solid barrier. D. Napping and sleeping spaces must not be under furniture or against furniture that creates a hazard. E. Napping and sleeping areas must not be in exit areas. All exits must remain clear in accordance with fire safety requirements
