2.4.2 Nap time Supervision During nap time, childcare personnel must be within sight and hearing of all the children. All other childcare personnel required to meet the staff-to-child ratio must be within the building on the same floor and available to be summoned if needed to ensure the safety of the children. Nap time supervision does not apply to children up to 24 months of age, who must have direct supervision at all times. In the nap time area direct supervision was not given specialist provided technical assistance. The specialist printed out the nap supervision out of the Handbook. Staff member will provide direct supervision at all times. ELC came out to observe the facility and found that there was an infant sleep in the nap time room without direct supervision
