04-04 · Technical assistance was given regarding outdoor Supervision and the importance of always keeping a proper count of all children in care and per classroom. Provider stated she conducted a meeting regarding supervision with all and is requiring they complete a training on supervision. Provider also created a paper transition and count roster for all classrooms

After conducting interviews with personnel and parents Licensing Specialist concluded that outdoor supervision was found to be noncompliance on the date of the incident. Licensing specialist confirmed that a child was left on playground unsupervised upon transitioning back into classroom from playground and a child count of all children was not completed. Corrected at the time of the inspection

39-04 · Technical assistance was given to provider regarding ensuring documentation is given to parents on the day incident accident occurs. Director stated she would have parent sign report and will complete a refresher training with staff on accident incident documentation. Per CCF Handbook, Section 6.4, B. This documentation must be shared with the custodial parent or legal guardian on the date of occurrence and D. The documentation must be maintained for 12 months. If the parent or legal guardian does not pick up the child on the date of occurrence of the accident or incident, the individual authorized to pick up the child must sign and be provided a copy of the accident/incident form (page 55)
