04-04 · Technical assistance was given regarding outdoor supervision. Provider retrained teachers regarding cell policy, outdoor supervision and serving children with additional needs. During inspection, Provider emailed Licensing Specialist documentation of retraining's and disciplinary action that was taken by facility for teacher who was viewed not supervising children on video footage. In the afternoon on May 6,2025 Provider informed Licensing Specialist that teacher is no longer employed at the facility. Per CCF Handbook, Section 2.4.1, A
Licensing Specialist observed two teachers on facility's camera footage the day the accident occured on the playground. Teacher #1 was observed sitting down, using cell phone and not supervising children on playground. Teacher #2 was observed supervising the children on the opposite side of playground, Copy of video footage was provided to the office of childcare licensing by the provider. A refrigerator in the infant portable was observed with a thermometer showing a temperature reading of approximately 50 degrees Fahrenheit. CCF Handbook, Section 3.9.2, F.1. An accurate thermometer designed to measure cold storage temperature must be placed inside each refrigeration and freezer unit. Thermometers in refrigerators must show a reading of 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below, and thermometers in freezers must show a reading of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below. The thermometer must be located in the center of the unit and be readily accessible. Thermometer temperature readings higher than specified above require further temperature testing of food samples stored in the unit using a probe type thermometer; and adjustments to the unit setting to reach and maintain the required readings must be made
