The following ratios were observed: Infants 1:4 1's 2:11 2's 1:12 ratio was brought into compliance when additional staff member arrived. New ratio = 2:12 3's 1:15 VPK 1:12 A ratio of [ 1 ] child care personnel for [ 12 ] children was observed. Upon entering the classroom, the children were found running around and climbing the bookshelves while the teacher was setting up cots. Another child ran into a bookshelf bumping his head. The licensing monitor asked the teacher who was working with her. The teacher stated she just arrived and did not know who was working with her nor did she know who was covering the classroom prior to her arrival. The licensing monitor brought this concern to the Office Manager. An additional staff member arrived to assist the children in the classroom, bringing this violation into compliance

At the time of inspection, the licensing monitor observed a 2-year-old wandering into the front office. When the licensing monitor and office manager walked the child back to her classroom, the teacher stated she was unaware the child left the room. The monitor advised the provider to keep toddlers' classroom doors closed, and place safety covers on classroom doorknobs. The area cited was brought into compliance after the office manager returned the child to her classroom
