8/28/23 inspection: Licensing counselor observed several cracks and lifted tiles in the walkway in front of the infant room and in the kitchen. 10/9/23 visit: There was a rug covering the cracked/lifted tiles in the hallway in front of the infant room. This is still a tripping hazard. Any problems must be corrected before the play area is used by children. Documentation of the indoor play area inspection must be maintained for 12 months

Licensing counselor observed an infant in a crib with a stuffed animal. There was also a mobile clipped on the side of the crib. Stuffed animal and mobile removed from crib. All personnel that care for infants must follow safe sleep practices as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) as referenced in Caring for Our Children Basics Health and Safety Foundations for Early Care and Education, which is incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001(7)(v), F.A.C. Cribs or playpens/play yards used for infants must have tight fitted sheets and no excess bedding, which includes but is not limited to: bumper pads, hanging mobiles, quilts, comforters, receiving blankets, pillows, stuffed animals and cushions
