04-01 · Supervision
At the time of the complaint inspection, interviews revealed that a 2 year old was injured while at school, causing her eye to swell shut; however her teachers in charge of her supervision could not explain to the parent exactly what happened to cause the swelling of her eye. The child was taken to the hospital due to the severity. The provider was advised to ensure that incidents of children crying be documented to the best of their abilities in the event that an injury/bruise appears later to explain the possible outcome and maintain compliance
