22-07 · Fire Drills

At the time of inspection licensing specialist observed six month of missing fire drill. A fire drill was conducted in the presence of licensing during snack time. 4/25/24 @ 3:10pm, 6 teachers and 51 children were present. TA: Child Care Facility Handbook Page | 28 Lockdown and inclement weather drills shall be conducted a minimum of one time each per operating year when children are in care and the documentation of these drills must be maintained for 12 months from the date of the drill. A lockdown or inclement weather drill may substitute for one monthly fire drill. Substitutions for fire drills may not occur more than three times within the licensure year. Documentation of this substitution must be maintained for 12 months from the date of the drill
