At the time of this inspection, there was several nails observed to be sticking out of the fence near the outdoor chalk board. Per the provider, the nails were used as hooks for pails. Provided TA that she may use the heads of the nails as the hooks but they should be higher up so they are out of the reach of children. Nails were removed at the time. Violation clear. Provider is in compliance

At the time of the inspection, it was observed the children napping on the cots were not a minimum of 18 inches from one another. The inspector communicated to the provider technical assistance--that children must be a minimum of 18 inches from each other during napping and away from furniture/shelving. The provider stated where she would place the children's cots for nap time instead, to meet requirements. Nap time concluded while the inspector was present. As per standards: A minimum distance of eighteen (18) inches shall be maintained on all sides between individual napping spaces. Napping spaces shall not be designated in kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms, or garages

At the time of the inspection, written parental notification of a pet in the home was missing for one of the children's files (for A.G.). The provider later emailed the inspector a completed/signed parental notification of a pet paperwork for the child. As per standards: Parents must be informed in writing of all animals on the premises of the home. Such information may be provided by way of a parent flier, a notification statement, or a statement included in the childs enrollment form. The home shall maintain a copy of the notification, dated and signed by the parent, verifying that the parent received this information
