13-03 · Toxic Substances, Hazardous Materials and Weapons
During the time of inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed spray bottle with bleach inside on top of the counter, near sink in the three -year-old classroom. The teacher was able to relocate bleach bottle to a shelf outside of reach of the children that are in care. This standard was brought back into compliance. Per CCF Handbook Section 3.2 Toxic/Hazardous Material/Firearms/Weapons B. All potentially harmful items, including cleaning supplies, flammable products, poisonous, toxic, and hazardous materials, must be labeled and used according to manufacturers recommendation. These items, as well as knives, sharp tools, and other potentially dangerous hazards, must be stored in a locked area or must be inaccessible and out of a childs reach at all times. (pg. 22)

21-10 · Restrooms and Bath Facilities
During the time of inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed bathroom vents had excessive dust build up in Toddler A, Toddler B, and three-year-old classrooms. Per CCF Handbook Section Section 3.7, G Restrooms and Bath Facilities G. Every facility must have at least one portable or permanent bath facility available for bathing children. The bath facility must be in good operation, clean and must be sanitized or disinfected after each use. (pg. 27)

During the time of inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed that frozen food that was removed from its original packaging was not properly labeled with the date of expiration and/or when package was removed from its original packaging. The Cook was able to correct by properly dating packages during the time of the inspection. This standard was brought back into compliance. Per CCF Handbook Section 3.9.2, D Food Storage D. Opened packages of perishable or leftover food items must be properly covered or sealed in containers or bags, labeled with the date, and properly stored and discarded within seven calendar days
