On January 16, 2025, Childcare Licensing received a complaint regarding a child A.J. She has a history of leaving the school with scars and marks on her body with unknown origin for 3-4 weeks. A. J. has sustained scars and marks on her face, arms, and private parts. The staff appears to not pay attention to the kids. On one occasion, there was a child on top of A.J. attempting to do a wrestling move. There was a teacher standing nearby that did not intervene. There is an incident where A.J. was knocked down and appeared unconscious for a minute and a half after hitting her head. There was also a teacher nearby that did nothing. There was no teacher present when another child injured Arianna on her private area. One of the teachers' named Ms. Autumn has been fired from the school. A.J. is currently not attending the school. An onsite investigation was conducted on January 17, 2025, and a statement was received from the Director (PG): Per the director child (A.J.) pushed child (S.S.), and both children started to fight, child (S.S.) overpower child (A.J.); the teacher (AP) did not take the appropriate action to intervene or prevent child (S.S.) from hurting child (AJ.). Per the director, after investigation the teacher (AP) was fired. There are no other known incidents with the child and parents never mentioned other allegations motioned on complaint. The teacher assigned to the class in question is new and does not know anything about previous incidents pertaining to the child. A video of the incident was observed and the children were observed fighting for about 2 minutes before the teacher intervened. Based on the result of the investigation this standard is Substantiated
