Complainant alleges that child (CL) had adult finger marks on his left arm. Statements from the teachers (RI and NC) were received. Per the teacher (RI), she didn't see any marks on the child's arm because she only saw him briefly on the playground. Per the teacher (NC), the child scratched another child on the playground so he was placed in timeout. The teacher took him to the classroom to sit on a chair. The child continued to get up and leave the classroom. The teacher stated that "It was a quick grip". She gripped his left arm to bring him to the classroom. It was a quick reaction to retrieve him and bring him back to class. Video footage of the incident was reviewed. The child was observed scratching another child on the face. The teacher (RI) grabbed him by his left arm and walked him and then carried him to sit at the picnic tables. The teacher (NC) went out to the playground to retrieve the child. The teacher grabbed him by his right arm, the child pulled back and the teacher held her grip on his arm to continue walking. Upon entering the classroom, the teacher was observed holding his right arm and lifting him up to sit on the chair. The child left the classroom on at least two occasions, so the teacher was observed bringing him back by gripping his left arm, near where the marks were observed. This complaint is deemed Substantiated. During the course of the complaint inspection, the following non-compliance was also observed; The child was playing in the playground and then taken to the classroom and placed in time-out at around 4:02PM . The child was not staying still and he was leaving the classroom continuously. Every time the child was brought back to the classroom, the teacher would sit him on a chair near the classroom entrance door. This continued until around 4:35PM when he was picked up. There were only two other children in the classroom , who per the teacher, were her clean-up helpers for the day. The other children were in the playground. TA was provided that active play must not be completely withheld from children who misbehave

A complaint allegation was received on 12/22/2024 alleging that child fell off the jungle gym and hurt his tooth and he was bleeding. His face was swollen and he was bleeding profusely. Child is not being watched or there is not enough staff to supervise the children. A complaint inspection was initiated on 12/22/2023 where a statement from the teacher (MB)was received. Due to the holidays, the director (IS) was not present so statement from the Director was not received. Video footage was not received until 1/4/2024. Per the teacher's statement, they went to the playground and RP was on time out for a little bit. Then he started jumping on the structure. Teacher stated that she told him to stop but he didn't so he fell to the floor and hurt his mouth. Teacher rushed to him and took him to the bathroom to wash it off. She saw that he had a cut inside his mouth and his lip was swollen. His tooth also appeared to be broken. Based on the video footage, the child was attempting to climb the stepping pods on the playground structure. When attempting to step unto another step, he missed and fell off, hitting his face on the ground. There were two teachers sitting on the picnic tables located under the shaded area. The teacher rushed to help the child after he fell on the floor. This complaint is Substantiated for inadequate supervision because even though the staff was there, they were not directing the childrens activities within close proximity

Toddlers should not have access to the large playground structure
